Job: Assistant

RWM UK is now starting a new production site in Telford and we are recruiting for Assistant who will have an important role in the overall support of the ramp-up of the new production site in Telford.

Rheinmetall Weapons and Ammunition UK (RWM UK) is part of the defence engineering company Rheinmetall AG based in Germany. We design, manufacture and support military large-calibre weapon systems used by the British Army and international customers.

• Departmental assistant for the central areas of production, logistics, quality and maintenance with around 100 colleagues
• Be the good soul of the new production site in Telford
• Booking business trips, processing travel expense reports (especially for the training of colleagues in Germany and vice versa during the ramp up of production)
• Follow-up on mandatory training/instruction
• Time management in the SAP-System
• Be the first point of contact for the team and external partners
• Support to the factory manager and head of departments
