Aufgaben

  • Design, develop, and transfer biomarker assays to support clinical trial needs
  • Lead in-house assay development and oversee method transfers to external CRO partners
  • Plan, execute, troubleshoot, and critically analyze complex cellular, functional, and protein biomarker assays
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods in compliance with regulatory and GxP requirements
  • Generate, interpret, and report high-quality experimental data aligned with project timelines
  • Support external partners with documentation, method implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and introduce novel technologies to strengthen biomarker strategies across therapeutic areas
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity, scientific rigor, and timely issue resolution

Profil

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (no PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline with industry or CRO experience
  • First experience developing biomarker assays in a regulated environment
  • Strong technical expertise in cellular and functional assays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, HTRF)
  • Proficiency in ligand-binding assay platforms (e.g., ELISA, ELLA, Simoa, Elecsys, MSD)
  • Hands-on experience implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting bioanalytical/biomarker methods
  • Solid understanding of GxP principles and their application in clinical trial support
  • Experience supporting pharmacodynamic biomarker development for preclinical or clinical studies
  • Proactive team player with strong communication skills, scientific rigor, and a growth-oriented mindset
