MECHANICAL FITTEER

Aufgaben

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Making sure that all preventative (PM03) and statutory cards are up to date.
  • Review of OEM, Spare Parts, Operating and Repair manuals.
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement resolution without compromising RDM or safety procedures.
  • Assist with execution of Autonomous maintenance.
  • Mechanical Data consolidation and capturing during and after job completion.
  • Assist with planned maintenance records and equipment history records.
  • Ensure that all CII (3Qs) are implemented and loop is closed.
  • Complete other reasonable, responsibilities as assigned.
  • Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.

Profil

  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Trade test as Fitter or Fitter and Turner.
  • Valid code 8 driver’s license.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the chemical / explosives industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP i.e. requisitions, Order number and reservations (preventative maintenance).
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Flexible and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Able to weld using Argon / TIG and Arc welding will be an added advantage
  • Good mechanical insight in the repairs of chemical machinery (pumps, gearboxes, etc.)
  • Willingness to work overtime and to be on standby
  • Ability to work well in a team and alone with minimum supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic hydraulics, pneumatics and steam systems will be advantageous
