- Independent creation of a market forecast for the subsegments Drilling, Fracking, and Well Servicing in the Oil & Gas sector; focus exclusively on onshore
- Analysis of developments in the oil price, regional changes in supply and demand, as well as geopolitical dynamics in relation to the power demand (MW) for drilling and fracking (USA)
- Modeling of quantitative market scenarios based on current global developments and derivation of a 5-year forecast for individual subsegments
- Interface management between sales and product teams to validate own findings
- Independent creation of presentations and decision-making documents for management
- Consulting regarding the interpretation of analysis results and their strategic relevance
Profil
- Understanding of the dynamics of the oil and gas industry through commodity prices, economic developments, etc., and their impact on the scope of supply
- Professional experience as an analyst in the oil and gas sector; ideally with knowledge in the upstream onshore area, particularly drilling rigs, wells, fracking, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of key information sources for subsegments and regions in the oil and gas sector, as well as the ability to derive relevant insights from them
- Experience in handling large and complex data sets
- Excellent analytical skills, creative problem-solving ability, and high attention to detail
- Ability to quickly recognize interrelationships and explain them logically and precisely
- Very good skills in working with MS Excel and PowerPoint
