How you can contribute:

• Drive the development and enhancement of digital products and platforms aimed at monitoring, analyzing, and improving water quality and ecological systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of solutions addressing critical environmental challenges.
• Manage the lifecycle of applications with web frontends for managing and analyzing water quality and ecology data products.
• Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software increments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and managing expectations.
• Define acceptance criteria and quality standards for product features, advocating for a user-centered design approach.
• Monitor key performance indicators and user feedback to evaluate product effectiveness and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Your Qualification:

• Minimum Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Ideally experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Solid understanding of water quality monitoring, ecological assessment, and environmental management principles.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Rust, and Web Assembly.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to leveraging technology for positive social and environmental impact.
• Willingness to work in Aachen headquarters; part-time remote work possible.
