- Analyse, review and maintain system requirements for complex ground-based defence systems within the Truck Mounted and Mobile Systems domain.
- Ensure consistency, completeness and traceability of requirements across hardware, software and mechanical subsystems.
- Create, structure and maintain requirements documentation throughout the full system lifecycle.
- Work closely with System Engineers, Technical Project Leads (TPLs), Verification & Validation (V&V) teams and other engineering disciplines.
- Support system architecture activities and derive technical requirements at overall system level.
- Conduct reviews, impact assessments and change management activities related to requirements.
- Ensure traceability between customer requirements, system requirements and verification evidence.
- Contribute within an international engineering environment where documentation and communication are primarily conducted in English.
Profil
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering or a comparable discipline.
- Strong understanding of complex systems and the interaction between hardware, software and mechanical domains.
- Hands-on experience with requirements management tools such as Jama, IBM DOORS or Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Defence industry background is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes and Systems Engineering methodologies.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with a structured working style.
- English is mandatory; German language skills for meetings and stakeholder communication are considered a strong advantage. Looking for a system-level thinker with broad technical understanding, not someone focused only on component or subsystem-level engineering.
