- Specification, implementation and testing of new control functions (in Matlab or other tools as well)
- Transient modelling and simulation of our motor products that are integrated into local power grids or large grids
- Optimisation of transient motor performance both on the motor and in simulation.
- Regularly (3-4 times per year for 1 to 3 weeks), with focus on the US and Europe, to accompany field validation of new control functions and support service engineers in commissioning and troubleshooting
- Fully integrated into the local engineering team at our headquarters in Jenbach
- Reporting to the technical function manager responsible for the development of the engine control software in Jenbach
Profil
- PhD or Master's degree in control, mechatronics or electrical engineering
- Project experience in the development of control software
- Experience with Matlab Simulink,
- Background in control theory, modelling of dynamic systems and model-based controller design
- Solid technical background in reciprocating internal combustion engines
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- German an advantage
