• For an international company in the automotive industry, we are looking for an experienced Senior Product Quality Investigator (m/f/d) with a focus on Connectivity & Telematics.
• In this role, you will investigate complex quality issues related to connected vehicle systems and manage technical investigations from initial problem definition through root cause confirmation and solution validation

Aufgaben

• Independently conduct technical quality investigations in Connectivity and Telematics, including issue reproduction, fault tracing, failure mode analysis and root cause analysis
• Analyze cellular connectivity, modems, SIM/eSIM provisioning, APN configurations, roaming and network connectivity issues
• Investigate and validate eCall/bCall, voice and data paths, vehicle networks, backend interfaces and OTA functionalities
• Evaluate vehicle, modem and network data as well as warranty-returned parts to identify and validate technical root causes
• Drive technical investigations within the 8D process and collaborate closely with Engineering, Aftersales, Quality, manufacturing plants and suppliers
• Document and track quality investigations, technical findings and recommendations using JIRA and other quality management systems

Profil

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with automotive telematics, connected vehicle systems and the investigation of complex software, hardware and integration issues
• Strong knowledge of cellular connectivity, SIM/eSIM, modem diagnostics and IP networking, ideally combined with experience in eCall/bCall and OTA
• Sound knowledge of vehicle networks and diagnostic protocols such as CAN, Automotive Ethernet and UDS/DoIP, as well as experience with CANoe/CANalyzer and Wireshark
• Experience with diagnostic and tracing tools such as Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT or QPST, combined with strong root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills, e.g. 8D
• Fluent English, a valid Class B driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally within Europe and internationally

Gehaltsinformationen

• This position is subject to the GVP collective bargaining agreement
• The salary is based on pay grade 8
• Your individual compensation will be determined taking into account factors such as your qualifications and professional experience
