Trade Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager Italy has the primary responsibility to translate the brand goals of SALEWA, DYNAFIT, POMOCA, WILD COUNTRY & EVOLV into effective marketing plans, reaching the local consumer. The Marketing Manager is leading the local marketing team of sports marketing and trade marketing and is responsible for planning and monitoring the overall marketing budget. He/she will work closely with internal teams and agencies to ensure the professional implementation of all measures in line with the brands strategy. The Marketing Manager will represent the OBERALP group to extern partners and stakeholders.

Main responsibilities & activities:

    • Lead the implementation and continuous development of the brand’s marketing strategy across the Italian market.
    • Develop annual marketing plans and execute trade marketing initiatives and seasonal campaigns in line with overall communication strategies.
    • Coordinate seasonal marketing meetings with key accounts.
    • Drive trade marketing growth through the implementation and management of shop-in-shops, soft shops, and point-of-sale (PoS) activities.
    • Strengthen brand engagement within target groups through athlete partnerships, events, and PR initiatives.
    • Conduct monthly performance reviews to optimize ongoing marketing activities.
    • Act as the key interface between brand marketing, sales, and other internal departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
    • Represent the GROUP in interactions with PR agencies, mountain associations, event organizers, and sponsored athletes.
    • Oversee team coordination, support personnel development, and lead regular team meetings.
    • Hold full responsibility for managing and optimizing the marketing budget.

Profile:

    • 5+ years of experience in the field of marketing
    • Experience in the consumer goods industry, preferable in the sporting goods industry or fashion industry
    • Experience in an international environment
    • Experience in people management
    • Advanced project management skills
    • Organizational and communication skills
    • Dynamic, sportive personality with a hands on approach
    • Italian and English skills, german is a plus
